Turkish coffee is a culture and method of preparing coffee. Roasted and then finely ground coffee beans are usually boiled together with sugar in water and a coffee pot and served in a cup in which the grounds are allowed to sit. This method is 16-17. Centuries came from the Arab world and was adopted by the Ottomans. Currently located in the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus, the Balkans, Bali and Eastern Europe.
Turkish Coffee is the Cultural Heritage of Turks approved by UNESCO. Since the Ottomans brought the first coffee beans to Istanbul in 1519, coffee has held a very important place in Turkish culture.
In Turkey, Turkish tea and breakfast is in people after drinking Turkish coffee. Similarly, they usually eat their dinner and desserts and then drink a Turkish coffee to finish.
We will start this program with 'Coffee Route' and taste coffee in various historical places. Next, we will visit Hacı Bekir Şekerci, a company that has been offering traditional flavors, including delicious Turkish delight, since 1777. At the end of the program, you will attend a Turkish coffee workshop and even receive a certificate.
