The United States of America, consisting of 50 states and a federal region, is a democratic, federal, constitutional republic that was established on July 4, 1876 as a result of the great struggles with England. The United States of America, whose population is made up of immigrants from all over the world, is the third most populous country in the world after China and India. It is still a heavily immigrant country, so it is one of the highest population growth rates among developed countries. With these features, Spanish is the most spoken language after English in the United States, which is the richest country in the world in terms of population diversity. With the collapse of the USSR, the country, which became the world's only superpower, continues to be the world's center of attraction in many respects.

Location:

The United States, which has a width of 4,500 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west, is adjacent to Canada in the north and Mexico in the south. The United States has 2 states far from the mainland. The first of these is the state of Alaska, which is the largest state in the United States in terms of surface area and the lowest in terms of population density, and was purchased from Russia in 1867 for 7.2 million US dollars. The other is the state of Hawaii, which is located in the Pacific Ocean and is made up of archipelago 3,200 kilometers from the mainland.

Economy:

The economy of the United States of America, holding the title of being the largest economy in the world, constitutes 22% of the world gross domestic product. In the USA, which is among the top 10 countries in terms of per capita income, inflation is around 1.5%. The United States of America, which has vast natural resources, is the world's largest oil and natural gas producer. In addition to these, it is the second largest economy in the world in the manufacturing sector with its well-established industrial and technology infrastructure. Home to the world's largest and most influential stock exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, the United States of America is also the center of the world financial markets. 128 of the world's 500 largest companies are headquartered in the USA. This power in the economy made the US dollar, the currency of the country, the most important reserve currency in the world. The engines of this giant economy, which has reached approximately 20 trillion USD, are oil, steel, machinery, aviation and space, electronics, telecommunications, chemistry, defense industry and mining. In addition to all these, approximately half of the lands of the United States of America, which is one of the few countries in the world in the agriculture and livestock sector, is agricultural land. As a result of high productivity agriculture and animal husbandry activities carried out in these vast lands using advanced technology, a large surplus occurs, making the country one of the world's most important agricultural exporters. The main agricultural products grown in the country are soy, tobacco, cotton, citrus fruits, wheat and sugar beet.

Climate:

There are quite different climate types and landforms in the United States of America, which is spread over a wide area. Because of the mountain ranges running parallel to the east and west coasts, the effect of the ocean does not extend to the interior, the continental climate prevails in a large part of the country, except for these coastlines. Therefore, we can say that there are huge temperature differences throughout the United States. In the winter months, with the effect of the cold air coming from the north, harsh and cold climates are observed, while in the summer months, with the effect of the hot air coming from the south, the climate characteristics are quite hot and dry. Since the central parts of the country are very high, there are no big temperature differences in these regions. Central regions receive abundant rainfall during the summer months due to the humid air from the ocean. Rainfall is less in the midwest regions. While a mild rainy and mild climate is observed in the southern regions that have a coast to the Atlantic Ocean, winters are harsher and colder on the northern coasts. As tropical climates prevail in the southern regions on the Gulf of Mexico side, summers are hot and winters are mild. Although the coastline in Alaska, one of the states outside the mainland, is under the influence of the ocean, very severe colds are observed in the inner regions, especially in the winter months. In Hawaii, one of the states other than the mainland, subtropical climate conditions prevail, so a temperate weather prevails throughout the year.
Wide plateaus like Colorado, Columbia; Majestic mountain ranges like Humboldt, Sierra Nevada; Deep valleys such as Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon; Vast desert areas such as Arizona and Chihuahuan; The United States of America, which has a wide variety of vegetation and land forms from large forests to tundra and steppe covered areas, is one of the rare ecologically diverse countries in the world.
Being a very rich country in this area with its fresh water resources such as Superior, Michigan, Ontario, Huron lakes and Mississippi and Missouri rivers, the USA is also home to Niagara, one of the most famous waterfalls in the world.

Food Culture in the United States
In the United States, when it comes to food, fast food culture comes to mind for everyone; however, this approach is not entirely correct. The country has a very colorful and rich food culture, both because it is spread over a wide geography and because it has a population of people from many different cultures. While the effects of British food culture are seen in the northeastern regions of the country, Spanish and Mexican cuisines are mostly influenced by the southern regions. In addition to these, we can say that Italian, Chinese and Japanese cuisines, which have a considerable population in the country, are common in almost every region of the country. Therefore, in the United States of America, there are opportunities to experience many different tastes in different restaurants where the world's famous and different cuisines are served. When talking about American cuisine, it is impossible not to mention seafood. The country, which has thousands of kilometers of coastline to two great oceans, also has a very rich seafood cuisine.
It is a well-known fact that ready-made and frozen foods have an undeniable place in the United States, which is one of the important centers of alternative and modern food habits besides traditional food cultures.
